james jonesKettlebells are a cast iron cannon ball with a thicker than dumbbell handle, they are said to originate from Russia and were first used, centuries ago, by strongmen around the world.They come in various weights and sizes and are used depending on one's strength and fitness capabilities; they range from 4kg-48kg.

Kettlebells provide a fun, functional, quick and efficient workout improving all the key components of fitness; muscular endurance, strength, power, flexibility, mobility and cardiovascular fitness.

They also provide functional strength to the athlete or client who uses them, this is because when 'swinging', 'snatching', 'cleaning' or 'jerking' a kettlebell the whole body is used in one integrated movement.
